Keeping with the Helluva Rides tradition and mission. Team Helluva Rides was formed with a goal to help a charity during this holiday season using the Remix Hawaii show as something positive. Rather than trying to win a team award for the ourselves the goal was to win the team award for a needy cause. There was a hefty cash prize for the winner of the BEST TEAM and with that moneys we could do something positive if the team could win it.
Using our data base of cars and clubs that supported our events in the past. We sent out the mission and goal and had a huge response it creating this team. Team Helluva was made up of various clubs and individuals combining to make the team.
We ended up with almost half the show floor with 26 mixed plate quality rides.
The team took home the 2 awards for the team category
Best Club (Most Entered and Best Over all) $250.00
Winnings will be donated to the
LOKAHI GIVING PROJECT to help a needy family for Christmas on behalf of the Entire Hawaii Automotive Community and Team Helluva Rides.
Besides taking Best Team, individuals of the team took home a total of 17 awards.
