When we developed Helluva Rides we wanted to do something different in car shows using some grass roots style of judging. With many TV shows such as American Idol we came up with an idea that we could get everyone involved and they didn't even have to go to the show, you didn't even have to be in the same state to participate. All you needed was the internet. You could even do it with your phones.
We came up with a voting system for a peoples choice award. This wasn’t about who had the most mods or the most decked out ride, all you had to have is some pride in your ride. There wasn't a right or wrong way to build you car. It was just pure for fun competition. All you had to do is register your rides at www.helluvarides.com and tell all your friends family or even strangers vote for your car. The great thing was anyone could vote for your car if they liked it. It created you a personal page that you could download photos and list your mods and it also had a blog on it to share your updates of you rides.
For Helluva Rides III it was once again intense with 2 rides. both getting over a 100 votes each. At times if you were watching the votes, you would know it was like a war because when you checked one would be ahead by only just a few votes, than you come back later the other ride would be in the lead.
We would like to congratulate Kurt Kajioka “Audiboy808” with his 1999 Audi A4 that got a whooping 155 online votes. If you got to see his car it was a very cleanly built euro. Check out his pages for more info in his car. Click Here.
We would like to thank everyone that participated in the voting system because with out you this new system wouldn't work.
Don't forget if your on Facebook become a fan of Helluva Rides.
